GUARDIAN G2 SECTION COVERS RESEARCH

For the current brief, Collect, Categorise, Communicate, Product, I have decided to design and write an info graphic based supplement for the Guardian, this will be a special edition of the G2 supplement which is free with their newspaper. It would potentially run for a week as a special edition. Below is some research on the supplement itself, and the cover designs which are all very different depending on topic and context.

The Guardian releases a supplement, 'G2' daily from Monday-Fri, which is free with the newspaper. There covers as usually, light hearted, highly illustrative with graphic design, or manipulated use of photography. These examples below give a good variety of examples to showcase a selection of their most notable G2 covers, i am hoping these will inspire me to design my own contemporary cover.
